Lot Essay

Sergeant Sidney Moston was born in the Parish of St. Thomas in Stockport, Cheshire. He continued to serve with the Cheshire Regiment after the Boer War, and as a Sergeant in the 1st Battalion, he was killed in action in France/Flanders on 14.5.1917.
