The domed vase supported by a pair of cherub caryatids, flanked by a pair of scrolled handles, the enamel ring comprising twelve plaquettes, each showing the chapter and marked with five-minute divisions, the twin-train movement stamped PLANCHON PARIS 14655, with platform lever escapement, with serpent head indicator above an oval portrait medallion of an Emperor, the rectangular breakfront plinth with acanthus scrolls and a foliate festoon, on bun feet
