Lot Essay

A.R.R.C. London Gazette 23.2.1917.

Sister Elizabeth Mildred Logie, A.R.R.C., entered the Egyptian Theatre of War in late October 1917 but would appear to have been decorated for earlier services in the Connaught Hospital, Aldershot. Correspondence included with the Lot suggests that Miss Logie hailed from Rhodesia, where she appears to have been appointed a Nurse in December 1915.
