A pair of French ormolu-mounted Sevres-pattern green-ground vases
In the Empire Style, Painted by Poitevin, Late 19th Early 20th Century
Each with a flared neck above a bulbous body, flanked by an addorsed swan head handle to each side, decorated with a panel painted with an equestrian scene entitled Bataiile de la Moskovva, the other with an equestrian scene entitled Bataille de Wagram, within an elaborate foliate scroll surround, above a bulbous base with the Imperial Eagle within a wreath, the reverse with a trophy panel, on a stepped socle, with acanthus-cast foot, on a square base with paw feet
