On a naturalistically-cast base inscribed P. J. MENE 1846 and with title inscription to the front edge, numbered twice 61453 to the underside, above a stepped wooden socle
The bronze: 15 in. (38.1 cm.) wide; 11 7/8 in. (30.2 cm.) high; 5½ in. (14 cm.) deep
