a rare card and paper folding French bedroom, the three walls with original green and white wallpaper above the dado, blue and white marbleised paper below, attached mirror and prints framed with embossed gilt paper and streaked red floor with folding extension, the card furniture decorated with embossed gilt paper, the glass tops painted on the reverse to simulate marble, the lit en bateau with original white cotton bedding held by gilt paper bands and white muslin hangings edged with gilt paper -- 12¾in. (32cm.) wide, 8½in. (21cm.) high and 9in. (22cm.) deep, French, circa 1810
