A rare and fine Bing clockwork walking teddy bear
with golden brown mohair, pronounced clipped snout, black horizontally stitched nose, black stitched mouth and claws, boot button eyes, swivel head, jointed limbs with elongated arms, felt pads, slight hump and clockwork mechanism with key hole in belly, operating a shuffling walking movement --12½in. (32cm.) high, circa 1910 (small bald patch above left eye, faded down one side, minor holes in right hand pad, feet pads recovered with rexine, replacement key)
