A star chart with a translucent plastic cover that has a preprinted orbit plot designed to slide up or down to update the current flight position relative to background stars. Labeled with CF55061-1 (part number) and Serial No. 11. The chart was used during periods when the spacecraft was in the earth's shadow which allowed the stars to become visible. Spacecraft navigation was verified using star sightings relative to the orbit plot printed on the map. Crew notation marks still remain on the plastic cover. INSCRIBED WITH FLIGHT TITLES BY GORDON COOPER AND CHARLES CONRAD on the map front.
