FLOWN Apollo 14 Kapton Segment. Approx. ½ x 1 in. mounted to a 3 x 5 in. certificate with letter by a NASA official. The kapton segment was from the outer thermal coating of Command Module Kitty Hawk. The segment made over 30 orbits of the moon and was removed for analysis after spacecraft re-entry into the earth's atmosphere.
