(22.8 x 17.8 cm.) or the reverse, the second with 40 albumen prints and 2 carbon prints, each approximately 9 x 6¼ in. (22.8 x 17.8 cm.) or the reverse. Each with descriptive text, contents, notice and title, the first with additional note "The Illustrations in this Work have been produced from the Original Negatives in the Photographic Department of the India Museum, by the "Autotype" process in Carbon, and are permanent.", inscribed in ink on front free end Mrs. Jim Power from H[enry] H[ardy] C[ole] Mirzapur - December 1870, the second inscribed in ink on title, H. H. Cole. his book. July 1875, each half leather, gilt, g.e., folio.
