Lot Essay

The Royal Yacht Osborne II, was built in 1875 and although principally for use of the Prince of Wales (later Edward VII) was also used for other Royal duties and between 1883 and 1885 was used by Queen Victoria whilst Victoria & Albert II was being re-fitted. Osborne was sold from service in 1908.
