Oval mocha-coloured agate quartz box with silver-gilt mounts and scrolling shell thumbpiece, the cover and sides applied with an elaborate ajouré gold cagework chased and embossed with a courting couple on the cover and with animals on the sides, all surrounded by Rocaille and scrolls, ropetwist rims
