Caroline Amalia, eldest daughter of Duke Ferdinand I of Parma and his wife Archduchess Maria Amalia of Austria, was married in 1792 to Maximilian Prince of Saxony (see R. Keil, Die Porträtminiaturen des Hauses Habsburg, Vienna, 1999, p. 194, no. 424).
