Paris, circa 1805/1815, marks rubbed, with the post-Revolutionary unofficial standard mark for 18 carat gold, later struck with two Parisian post-1838 restricted warranty marks or gold
Octagonal box, the slightly tapering cover, four sides, four corners and base engine-turned with a rhomboidal pattern framed by flutes, the matted gold borders stamped with trailing foliage
