Oval box with lobed outlines, the cover centred with an oval translucent red radiant wavy guilloché enamel plaque applied with the tughra of Mohammed Ali, Viceroy of Egypt (c. 1769-1849) studded with old-cut and rose-cut diamonds, within a broad old-cut diamond border, on a radiant ribbed blue enamelled panel enamelled with colourful flowers en taille d'épargne, the lobed sides and base identically enamelled, the lobed border of the lid applied with a silver band studded with old-cut diamonds, the inside of the lid centred with an oval enamel plaque painted with a view of lake Geneva, within a plain gold mount and blue enamel band embellished with colourful flowers, wavy flange; in original fitted silk-lined red leather case
