A Swiss gold, enamelled and gem-set pendant vinaigrette
Geneva, circa 1840, unmarked
Cushion-shaped, the cover enamelled with a view of Lake Geneva, over radiating engine-turning, with floral borders enamelled in red and blue on a pale blue ground, the corners set with pink sapphires and emeralds, the reverse similar, with a floral centre, the grille with rosettes and foliate scrolls, suspended by a hexagonal link enamelled chain from a ring formed as a serpent with gem-set head
