A Swiss enamelled gold pendant vinaigrette
circa 1830/1840
Circular, the body enamelled in bands of pink and green with floral sprigs and garlands in red, white, yellow, blue and green, highlighted with gold, the cover and base with central blue, black and white rosette, the cover set with a garnet, with small cabochon pushpin opening, and removable rosette and scroll grill with button handle, all attached on both sides to a chain with hexafoil links enamelled in black, red, blue, green and white, suspended from a fluted ring enamelled in similar colours, marked inside ring
the pendant 1¼ in. (32 mm.) diam., 3½ in. (90 mm.) high overall including chain and ring
