A Victorian large gold and bloodstone vinaigrette
circa 1840, unmarked
Oval, in the George II style, the cover set with bloodstone panel, with a pierced border of flowers, scrolls and a putto, the base and slightly waisted sides engraved with scrolls, flowers and diaperwork, the sides applied with floral and scroll borders, with scroll thumbpiece, the grille with floral scrolls
2 in. (52 mm.) long
