Heidi Peterson's signature wine; 150 cases produced. Tasted June 6, 1997. Nearly opaque black violet color. Intense, ripe, focused fruit aromas, tarry, buttery, minerally, racy. On the palate, rich warm sweet jam, alcoholic but with surprisingly smooth and subdued tannins. Jammy right through the finish, with a mineral twist. Outstanding. FH
