embroidered in couched silks with a stellar medallion surrounded by straight stemmed flower sprays issuing from the centre, the borders worked with pink and russet rosette flowers within green leaf circles, the outer borders with a ribbon of flowers, Nurata, 19th century, mounted on a stretcher--160cm x 230cm
