An antique enamel and coloured glass pendant necklace
Comprising seven plaques suspended from a cord, three of green coloured glass with applied chased gold work, one depicting an avatar (incarnation) of Vishnu and two depicting a lion with it's prey; the rest with red, green, blue and white enamel decorated with peacocks to the front and the Vishnupada or feet of Vishnu to the reverse,all suspending inverted pear shaped enamelled drops, North Indian, mid/late 19th century
