built by P.H. Bailey, with brass-bound wood-lagged cylinder 1in. bore x 2in. stroke, outward facing valve chest with main stop valve, simple parallel motion, rod driven feed pump, barrelled connecting rod, spoked flywheel and spoked belt pulley, finished in green, red and polished brightwork, cast bed and display base, with brass plate stamped Rotative Beam Engine P.H. Bailey Maker l1982 -- 12 x 15½in. (30.5 x 39.5cm.)
