A well engineered 3½in. gauge model of the LMS 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender No. 5300
built to the design of Doris, with brazed superheated copper boiler with superheater tubes and steam pipes removed and main steam pipes connected for compressed air operation and with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, steam brake and clack valves and blower ring (grate and ashpan missing). Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, draincocks, mechanical lubricator, fluted connecting and coupling rods, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass (eccentric removed), steam operated brake gear, sanding boxes and pipes, steps hand and lamp irons and lamps. Tender details include hand operated brake gear, ladder steps, hand and lamp irons and lamps. Finished in green with yellow lettering and lining -- 10 x 46½in. (25.5 x 118cm.)
