An unusual and well constructed Gauge 1 gas-fired steam model of the L'Bahn long wheel base 4-4-0 (2.B.) and three-axle tender No. 1 of 1848 by Henschel and Sohn Cassel
stamped Beck Kassel CBS 017 on base of burner, internally fired boiler with safety valve, pressure gauge and regulator, fitted with twin double-acting cylinders and two linked sets of inside motion reversing from open footplate, the tender equipped with gas tank and needle valve control, water tank and hand pump. Finished in black and red with polished chimney cap, bands and fittings -- 17in. (43cm.) long, in fitted wooden case (some slight wear)
