A well detailed Gauge O gas-fired live-steam model of the German D.R. ex K-Bay 4-6-2 (2.C.1) locomotive and four-axle tender 18-498 by J.A. Maffei-München No. 3448, originally built in 1914
built by Spring, with internally fired boiler with two safety valves and regulator, twin double-acting cylinders and sets of Heusinger valve-gear with operating reverse reach rod through to cab, leaf-sprung driving wheels and hinged coupling rods, sprung buffers and rear pony wheels, the semi-rigid tender with leading two-axle bogie fitted with gas tank and control valve. Other details include dummy pumps, brake gear, steps, hand rails and rivets, finished in D.R. black and red livery -- 19½in. (50cm.) long, in wooden carrying case. (Some wear and minor damage)
