Dr. Ulrich Luckhardt of the Hamburger Kunsthalle and Dr Ralph Jentsch have both kindly confirmed the authenticity of this work pointing out that Sporthumor was the name of a satirical magazine in which the present work was included, entitled Aus Johannisthal. The drawing was executed in Dresden in 1911.
