Aurora and Cephalus, a fan, the leaf painted with Aurora descending from her chariot drawn by two palominos to embrace Cephalus, the verso with a lady kneeling holding a bowl of fruit, the ivory sticks carved and pierced with shepherds and painted with flags, drums and fruit - 10.5in. (27cm.), circa 1750 (old repair to one guardstick and one stick)
