A printed fan, the leaf a hand-coloured stipple engraving of Cupid collecting dew drops in shells, with butterflies at his feet, the verso with an elegant couple in a garden, signed Pomel's, the bone sticks pierced and applied with a mother of pearl vignette painted with flowers and doves, with ormolu guardsticks - 7.5in. (19cm.), circa 1825
