A LOUIS XV ORMOLU-MOUNTED, GREEN-JAPANNED AND POLYCHROME-PAINTED BRACKET CLOCK
Circa 1750, the dial signed Bourgeois a Paris, stamped J. Fecourt twice, redecorated and partially remounted
With a cartouche shaped case and floral decoration, foliate scrolled cresting with further shell and acanthus scrolled mounts to the case and scrolled feet raised on a separate tapered bracket with conforming mounts and decoration

Lot Essay
Probably either Jean-Léonard Bourgeois (recorded in the rue Dauphine 1735-9) or Benoist-Gabriel, elected fils de maître in 1739. J. Fecourt is apparently not recorded.
