A PAIR OF THREE SEVRES JAM POTS AND COVERS ON FIXED STANDS FROM THE 'SERVICE DE LA REINE' DELIVERED TO GUSTAVE III (TROIS POTS DE CONFITURES ET PLATEAU TRIANGULAIRE)
Blue interlaced L's, date letters gg for 1784 and painter's mark for Vincent Taillandier, incised 25
The triangular stand fitted with three attached pots and covers with gilt ovoid knops, painted in the center with a spray of pink roses within a blue-ground band of 'pearls', the gilt-edged rim with a deep border of pink and green rose sprigs alternating with blue and green cornflower sprigs edged in gilt foliage and reserved on a claret ground between bands of gilt beads and green laurel, all reserved with six gilt-edged roundels with alternating rose and blue grounds painted with 'pearls' and gilt beads and enclosing a pansy sprig
