The porcelain circa 1720, the decoration slightly later, probably painted in the Auffenwerth workshop, the mounts with maker's marks for Elias Adam
Of oblong, octagonal form with stepped cover and base, the cover and box painted in black and enriched in iron-red with and enriched in gilt with half-length figures of women on panels alternate with strapwork, the rims and other decoration silvered
