Modelled striding forward beside a tree stump, a brace of pigeon in his left hand, a basket of eggs over his right arm, wearing pale yellow hat, pale lavendar coat and brown Turkish slippers, the mound base applied with flowerheads and molded with grasses

The catalogue illustration for this lot is incorrectly numbered as lot 424. This figure should be more accurately dated circa 1770 because of the colors of the decoration. The model was first produced in 1757
