The oval bowl resting on a shaped octagonal base decorated with leaves and beads, monogrammed vD
5.5cm. high and 12.5cm. wide (102gr.)
Marked with the company mark of Georg Jensen (1926-1932), background of dots stamped in oval surrounding Georg Jensen with a crown. Also marked with upright oval of dots surrounding GI, under that 925 beneath that the letter S (1915-1930), also struck Sterling Denmark 42B, to reverse of bowl

Special notice
Christie's charge a buyer's premium of 20.825% of the hammer price for lots with values up to NLG 200,000. If the hammer price exceeds the NLG 200,000 then the premium is calculated at 20.825% of the first NLG 200,000 plus 11.9% of any amount in excess of NLG 200,000.
