A Dutch-engraved maritime light baluster goblet attributed to Jacob Sang

The funnel-shaped bowl decorated with a continuous scene depicting a sea with a galleon with flying pennants, flanked by a farmer with a horse-drawn plough and three trees, under the inscription: 's lands welvaren (to the prosperity of the country), on a balustroid stem with three knops, the lower section enclosing oblique tears, on conical foot

The high quality of the engraving, the polishing of some details of the engraving and the style of the depiction of the figures and the letters are typical for the style of Jacob Sang.
