A Nurnberg fayence blue and white fluted floral dish
First half 18th century, marked with an underglaze blue hatch
In the manner of Valentin Bontemps, decorated with an urn overflowing with fruit surmounted by two birds, further with spindly foliage, the border with cartouches reserved with acanthus leaves alternating floral ones, the reverse with stylised motifs
25.5cm diam.
