A Nevers faience oblong figural bowl and a barrel
First half 17th century
In the a compendiario style, inspired by Bianco di Faenza, examples, enhanced in yellow, orange, blue and manganese-red, the bowl depicting a nude maiden in relief, lifting her right leg, semi-framed by and ovolo border, on oval base (foot restored), 21cm wide, and a two-handled barrel (tonneau) decorated with a tulip in orange (restored), 12cm wide (2)
