Depicting a twisted column entwined with berry and flower branches, surmounted with fat winged cherubs, with Ionic capital, the base with bunches of grapes (three tiles a later replacement)
each 2 x 12 tiles, 26 x 158.5cm (2)

In the 18th century, decorated tile pillars substituted the old-fashioned sandstone Atlantes, which flanked the fireplaces in the 16th and 17th century Dutch Interior.
