Fourth quarter 18th century, marked with a blue crescent
Decorated with the usual motifs issuing from a fence, further with birds and butterflies, the covers with flowerbud finial, comprising: a baluster coffee pot with scrolled handle, elongated spout, the high domed cover en suite, 26cm high, a globular teapot and cover, 13.5cm high, a baluster milkjug and cover, 16.5cm high, a sugarbowl and conical cover, 12cm high (4)

Lot Essay
Caughley fence-patterned porcelains appear very similar to Worcester. Caughley potting is rather thicker and the body by transmitted light has normally an orange tint.
