A Paris gilt part dinner service
19th century, variously incised marks
The shaped borders decorated in slight relief with stylised gilt leaves outlined in green, the centre with a rosette in moresque style, with paw feet, comprising: a large boat-shaped quadrupod pedestal ajour basket, 27cm high, a pair of circular baskets en suite, 18.5cm high, a pair of circular pedestal coupes, a pair of small circular two-handled pedestal tureens and covers, with mascaroon handles and ring finial, a pair of cylindrical butterdishes on fixed stand and a domed cover, a large two-handled deep side dish, the border shaped and moulded with shells, a pair of small side dishes en suite, a pair of stands, fifteen dinner plates, sixteen breakfast plates (some gilt faded, minor damages) (45)
