A The Hague-decorated Ansbach porcelain ornithological coffee and tea service
1776-1790, marked with an overglaze blue stork
Painted in colours with various birds and flower sprays, the border with continuous gilt scrolls with pendentif motifs, comprising:
a baluster coffee pot with loop branch handle, pointed spout and domed cover with flowerbud finial (cover restored), 27cm high, a globular teapot with loop branch handle, branch spout and flat cover en suite, 11cm high, a baluster milkjug with loop branch handle and pointed spout, 13cm high, a sugarbowl and domed cover en suite, 10cm high, a slopbowl (restored), 16.5cm diam., a quatrefoil pattipan, 16.5cm wide, six coffee cups and saucers (one cup and one handle restored), twelve teacups and saucers with flower spray to the inside
