A Berlin gilt botanical two-handled pedestal vase

(Kratervase) the elongated flaring body gilt allover and painted in colours with a continuous band of summer flowers e.g. pink roses, poppies, anemones, etc., after engravings by Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759-1840), reserved on a gilt tooled ground decorated with dotted vermiculation, above a band of pendentifs motifs, the handles modelled as winged dogs with a fish tail, the pedestal base edged with an ornamental band (one handle restored)
