(Tabatière) gilt and painted in colours in the manner of Johann Gregorius Höroldt, of oval waisted form, the front, the back, the outside and the inside of the cover depicting scenes with Orientals at various pursuits, e.g. drinking tea and smoking, standing on an elaborate gilt scrollwork vignette, flanked by miniature medallions depicting Purpurmalerei scenes surrounded by gilt scroll- and diaperwork, the base with a Purpurmalerei scene of two smoking Orientals at a table
