GLOBE TERRESTRE dressé par E. DUBAIL. E. BERTAUX, Editeur, 25, Rue Serpente, Paris. Gravé par P. Méa Imp. Monrocq, Paris [c.1910]
A 15-inch (38.1cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees and hours, the meridian of Paris and equinoctial colure graduated in degrees, the ecliptic not shown, the oceans with steam ship routes with ports of arrival and departure, submarine cable lines, the Sargasso Sea, wind directions and warm and cold ocean currents, the continents with rivers, mountains, towns and cities, and marked for areas of national possession (general severe discolouration, numerous areas of abrasion, crack around the equator with paper and plaster loss, some plaster retained separately) with stamped brass hour dial, meridian circle and horizon ring, supported on an ebonised iron semi-circular support to a turned brass and ebonised wood column and square plinth base -- 30½in. (77.5cm.) high
