A Prattware 'Military Review' jug
moulded in relief and painted in a typical palette with a calvary officer riding between two oak trees, his sword held upright, the reverse moulded with a horse rearing up on its hind legs, a smaller figure of an officer on a white horse, in the background galloping in the opposite direction, the rim moulded with acorns and leaves, the lower section with bulrushes, circa 1800 (cracked, small glaze chips) -- 16cm. high See illustration
