Two Sèvres cups and saucers (Gobelet 'Calabre' et soucoupe of the second size)
each painted with sprigs of brightly coloured flowers, below a border of two pansies within gilt dot roundels, flanked by swags of roses and other garden flowers suspended from two pale-blue bows, below a continous band of gilt dots and gilt-line rims, one with blue interlaced L mark, flanked by date letters ee for 1782 and indistinct painter's mark, possibly L or h, the second cup and saucer, the cup with interlaced L marks, enclosing dd for 1781 and painter's mark for Jean-Baptiste Tandart, and a gilder's mark, the saucer with interlaced L mark enclosing date letters DD for 1781 and a painter's mark possibly for La France and a 6 (one cup with a tiny chip to the footrim, light rubbing to gilding generally) the cups -- 6.5cm. high
