with serpent head handle, the cup moulded in hight relief with a quarter-length portrait of a classical woman, reserved on a gilt vermicular ground within a foliate gilt ovolo, below a border gilt with anthemium within linked ovolos and gilt-lines, printed KPM and sceptre marks, painted 125/63, circa 1900 (light rubbing to gilding), the cup -- 11.5cm. high
