Tasting note: Deep red with copper edge developing, this has concentrated, cassis aromas which are many years away from a fully complex apogee. It is a superbly built, harmonious wine, its fruit, alcohol, structure and ripe tannins being beautifully integrated. May be enjoyed already, but will gain silkier texture, as well as grandeur, if cellared beyond 2005. A.H.
