With Ajax and Achilles playing a board game, both wearing a crested Corinthian helmet, a corselet over a short chiton, and greaves, two spears and a shield slung over the left shoulder, the hero on the right with a shield with a bent leg as the device, a palm tree behind the gaming table and behind each warrior, with palmettes on the shoulder above a band of connected rings, short vertical lines above, and long rays on the neck
