AN ETRUSCAN BRONZE LION APPLIQUÉ
Circa 6th Century B.C.
With a silver-black patina, the lion depicted couchant to the left, its head turned to the left, the face with incised and stippled details, the ears pointed and folded back, the mane an incised flame pattern, the tail curling between the left leg and up over the flank
