A GREEK BRONZE CORSELET
Magna Graecia, Circa 4th Century B.C.
Including a separate breast-plate and back-plate, each hammered from a single sheet, with the musculature, navel, nipples and spinal column naturalistically modelled, the nipples perhaps formerly inlaid or gilt, with three attachment rings remaining on the proper right side
17 7/8 in. (45.4 cm) high for the front; 19 in. (48.3 cm) high for the back
